The main hall is 14.7m (long) x 9.1m (wide)
The Committee Room is 9.3m (long) x 3.6m (wide)
The bar is 4.16m (long) x 4.16m (wide) excluding the area behind the bar

HEATING
There are £1 coins meters throughout the building:
Two for heating the main hall
One for the kitchen
One for the committee room
One for the changing rooms
One for the “Ref’s” room
Please estimate £1 per 45 minutes of heating in the main hall. The cost of other meters depends on usage.
POWER
There are ample 13A sockets on the stage, in the foyer, in the bar and in the kitchen.
Electricity costs are included in the hire charge

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
Crockery, Cutlery, Tea towels, Washing up liquid, Bin bags, Kitchen roll, Table linen, Cleaning products, Hand cleaning products for the toilets
HIRE CHARGE EXPECTATIONS
All chairs and tables back in the bar cupboard
Sweep and mop the floors (kept in the cupboard next to the Disabled Toilet)
All surfaces clean and disinfected
All rubbish taken away/deposited in the green bin out the front
All glass taken away/deposited in the recycling bins
All decorations taken down and taken away
All fixtures removed
All electrics (for kitchen and bar appliances) off
All doors locked

General hirers get Main Front Door, Committee Room, Changing Rooms and Kitchen Door keys, according to what rooms are booked.
FIXINGS
All decorations must be fixed to the wooden rails on the main hall walls. They should NOT be taped or blue-tacked to the walls.
HEALTH & SAFETY
There are three fire extinguishers:
1 foam in the foyer
1 foam in the main hall
1 CO2 in the kitchen
They are all indicated by luminous signs, and are tested annually.
Fire exits all have illuminated signs:
Rear of hall – to main entrance
Rear of hall – to outside
Bar – to outside
Passage by side of stage – to outside
Committee Room – to outside
Please note: the kitchen external door is NOT an Emergency Exit because the most likely source of fire is the kitchen, in which case to open the door would fuel the flames. In the event of a fire in the kitchen, exit is via the main hall – an automatic shutter closes the serving hatch.
In the event of electricity failure:
A standby system automatically illuminates exit signs and emergency lights.
The electric supply is guarded by a modern RCD system.
All portable appliances are PAT tested annually.
Premises were inspected by AVDC Environmental Health Services (Food Safety Act 1990) on 17th August 2005.
No smoking is allowed inside the building, and any cigarette ends left outside will need clearing away

Unless the hall is booked for a Day session after an event, you must have the hall cleared and tidy by Noon the next day.

£100 - Not returned if the hall is not left as expected.
